Donation Services Coordinator - Night Shift
About The Position
LifeShare is seeking compassionate individuals to join their dynamic team as a Donation Services Coordinator during the night shift (7pm - 7am). The role involves communicating with hospital staff to assess donor eligibility, guiding families through the donation process with empathy and care, requesting authorization for donation from legal next of kin, and conducting medical/social history interviews. The position requires strong critical thinking, collaboration with medical professionals, and clear communication with donor families and professional staff. Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Flexibility and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to handle stressful situations with calm efficiency.
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends on rotation.
Nice To Haves
- Medical terminology knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Prior experience with grief support is a plus.
- Experience in performance-oriented environments is a plus.
Responsibilities
