About The Position

Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio is hiring a Donation Pricing Associate in Cleveland, Ohio (Garfield Heights). The associate processes and prices quality donated goods promptly and according to agency standards. The role also supports positive customer and donor experiences by greeting and thanking them in accordance with agency policies and procedures. Goodwill describes its work as serving the community through high-quality goods, a supportive environment, and an inclusive and equitable workplace, while acting as a steward of donations and the environment.

Requirements

Good people skills.
Ability to identify different shades and tones of color.
Background check required.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure 100% donor and customer satisfaction.
Stay informed about brand names, maker’s marks, current and vintage opportunities, and price points for hardline goods.
Sort hardline goods into salable, eCommerce, and salvage/outlet categories.
Price salable items and transport carts to the sales floor for merchandising.
Maintain accurate production counts while following agency standards and goals.
Keep the sorting and processing area neat and clean.
Assist with floor running, rotation, merchandising, and sales-floor cleaning as needed.
Embody DGR (Donated Goods Retail) MODE Guiding Principles.
Follow agency safety policies and guidelines.
Work with supervisors and team members to address identified safety concerns.
Perform other duties as assigned.
