About The Position

This is a part-time, hourly position based in Fort Myers, Florida. The Donation Door Attendant is a front-line position representing Goodwill SWFL to the public, with primary duties including the receipt, recording, and sorting of donations to effectively process them through the Kaizen system. Full compliance with Kaizen guidelines and principles is expected. Other duties may include processing, cleaning, customer service, and maintaining building fixtures/equipment.

Requirements

Sufficient mobility to turn from side to side, lean, kneel, or bend.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to see and recognize colors.
Knowledge of basic math skills.
Ability to lift at least forty (40) pounds on a frequent and continuous basis.
Ability to occasionally team lift up to (100) pounds.
May have to occasionally work where temperatures and climate can fluctuate.

Nice To Haves

High School graduate or its equivalent preferred.
Experience in retail and/or stock handling preferred.

Responsibilities

Receipt, recording, and sorting of donations to effectively process through the Kaizen system.
Provide great customer service.
Represent Goodwill SWFL to the public.
Full compliance to Kaizen guidelines/principles as outlined in the audit and 5-minute drills.
Processing, cleaning, customer service, building fixtures/equipment.
Perform all other duties instructed by immediate supervisors.
