Requirements

  • Sufficient mobility to turn from side to side, lean kneel or bend and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to see and recognize colors.
  • Knowledge of basic math skills.
  • Ability to lift at least forty (40) pounds on a frequent and continuous basis and occasionally to team lift up to (100) pounds.
  • May have to occasionally work where temperatures and climate can fluctuate.

Nice To Haves

  • Great customer service skills.
  • High School graduate or its equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in retail and/or stock handling preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receipt, recording, sorting of donations to effectively process through the Kaizen system.
  • Representing Goodwill Industries to the public.
  • Full compliance to Kaizen guidelines/principles as outlined in the audit and 5-minute drills.
  • Processing, cleaning, customer service, building fixtures/equipment, and all other duties instructed by your immediate supervisors.
