About The Position

Donation Attendant Join Goodwill Columbus and Turn Donations Into Opportunities As a Donation Attendant, you'll be the first friendly face donors meet when supporting Goodwill's mission. You'll help accept donations, provide outstanding customer service, and ensure items are processed efficiently so they can support job training and employment services throughout our community. If you enjoy staying active, working outdoors, and helping people, we'd love to meet you.

Requirements

• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to make sound decisions and adapt to changing priorities
• No high school diploma or GED required
• No prior experience required

Nice To Haves

• Retail, warehouse, customer service, or donation center experience is a plus, but we'll train the right candidate

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist donors with a positive, customer-focused attitude
• Help unload donations from vehicles and provide donation receipts
• Sort donated items into designated categories for processing
• Assist with loading and unloading donations as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe donation site
• Track donor activity and maintain accurate daily records
• Follow safety guidelines and company procedures
• Support team operations and complete other duties as assigned
