Requirements

  • Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
  • Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with facilities management and property disposition
  • Driver's license to drive government vehicles
  • Understanding of U.S. government regulations around property/facilities management, mail services and transportation
  • Ability to lift and move objects, often ranging from 10 to 50 pounds, with some heavier lifting, potentially up to 75 pounds
  • Strong interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal) and organization skills
  • Customer service mindset and ability to problem solve independently
  • As of May 12th, 2026 and moving forward, this contract must preclude anyone with previous USAID experience from recruitment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide various services including mailroom, shipping, printing, move and space management, asset management, use of Agency vehicle, parking and metro benefits.
  • Coordinate with staff across offices and contractors to draft policy in managing property/facility management, mail, and transportation.
  • Engage with contractors and facilitate any maintenance and repair of USAID’s offices and conduct inspections.
  • Ensure timely inbound and outbound delivery of mail working with the Department of State and the U.S. Post Office.
  • Ensure staff receive Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority and parking benefits per Agency policy.
  • Support business operations and ensure customer satisfaction.
