About The Position

Charleston Dog Walker is seeking a reliable and independent individual to join their team for weekday dog walks and pet care visits. This part-time role is ideal for those with weekday midday availability, such as remote workers, freelancers, parents with children in school, evening workers, or semi-retired individuals. As a W-2 employee, you will receive training, support, and be part of an established local pet care company, allowing you to focus on pet care while the company handles clients, scheduling, and payments. The primary need is for Monday through Friday, between late morning and early afternoon (approximately 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.), with opportunities for additional hours through pet sitting visits during mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Reliable, organized, and good at time management.
Genuinely enjoy animals and be comfortable with dogs of different sizes and personalities.
Pay attention to details and follow instructions carefully.
Communicate clearly and professionally.
Comfortable working independently and solving problems.
Don't mind being outside in Charleston weather.
Comfortable using a phone for schedules, directions, photos, and visit updates.
Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
Ability to pass a background check.
Consistent weekday availability for at least 6 months, ideally longer.
Availability between approximately 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on weekdays.
