About The Position

Dog Walker Do you love dogs and being outdoors? Whoa Doggie might be a great fit for you! We are a small team of amazing dog care providers looking grow our pack. We are currently hiring for dog walking positions in the West Loop and River West areas. We keep our routes small so they are walkable and do not require a vehicle to get from client to client. Whoa Doggie keeps hours of operation of 10AM - 5PM Monday through Friday to support a healthy work life balance for our team.

Requirements

• Full availability during operating hours (10 AM - 5 PM, Monday - Friday).
• Experience handling dogs on a leash.
• Basic understanding of dog behavior.
• Mobile phone with data for client updates and photos.
• Love of being outdoors in all seasons.
• Good communication skills.
• Punctual.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Walk dogs in the West Loop and River West areas.
• Manage time effectively to hit target service windows for walks.
• Send clients updates and photos of their pups.
• Communicate with the team throughout the day.
• Spend every day hanging out with clients' pups.
