About The Position

Urban Tailz is looking for pet lovers who share our values of reliability, communication, and consistency to join our team! As one of Chicago's longest-running dog-walking & pet-sitting businesses, we bring decades of experience in providing organized, efficient, and trustworthy service for both our clients and staff. As a part-time, W2 Daytime Dog Walker, you'll ensure our clients' dogs are happy, healthy, and well cared for during evening and weekend walks. Requirements

Availability: at least 3 weekday evenings 5pm-8pm or 6pm-8pm (required)
Availability: Some availability on both Saturday & Sunday between 8am-8pm on at least 2 weekends per month (required)
Reliable commute to Chicago service areas listed above.
Eligibility to work in the U.S. and a minimum age of 18.
Capable of withstanding all weather conditions outside and several hours of walking each day.
A smartphone with a data plan for communication and tracking walks.
Open to last-minute requests
Willing to pick-up/ drop-off keys from the office; this could be multiple times throughout the week if necessary

Nice To Haves

Reliable access to a vehicle is preferred but not required. Team members with vehicle access may be eligible for larger routes and additional hours based on client demand and route availability. Candidates without a vehicle will be considered for smaller, walkable routes.
