At Brooklyn Bark, we love what we do and we want to grow our team with like-minded pet lovers! Brooklyn Bark is looking for a dependable person to join our professional team as a Part-Time Dog Walking Professional! This is a part-time, W-2 employed position that receives benefits like paid time off (PTO) and 401(k) payroll contributions. Additionally, you will be provided with paid training and education on dog and cat behavior throughout your tenure with us!
Requirements
- Availability: At least 6 consecutive hours of availability between 10 AM and 6 PM, Monday through Friday
- Ability to commute to and around Brooklyn
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. and a minimum age of 18.
- Capable of withstanding all weather conditions outside and several hours of walking each day.
- A smartphone with a data plan for communication and tracking walks.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with dogs and cats is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the dogs in each household to go outside with appropriate safety gear
- Lead 30-60 minute walks and active play sessions
- Administer food, water, or medication per client instructions.
- Clean up after pets outdoors and indoors as needed.
- Send updates/photos and log behavior or health notes.
