Calling All Dogs & Cats is seeking reliable, animal-loving individuals to join our team on a part-time, contract basis. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, values flexibility, and is passionate about providing high-quality care for pets.
Requirements
- Previous experience with dogs or pet care preferred
- Comfortable handling dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in pet sitting, dog walking, or animal care
- Experience administering medications (a plus, not required)
Responsibilities
- Walk dogs in a safe, timely, and professional manner
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all pets in your care
- Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners (leash handling, feeding, medications if applicable)
- Provide fresh water and basic care during visits
- Clean up after pets during walks
- Communicate updates to clients (photos, notes, or app updates if applicable)
- Report any concerns regarding pet behavior or health
- Maintain punctuality and reliability for scheduled visits
