About The Position

As a Petco Certified Dog Trainer, you will support Petco’s mission as a pet health and wellness company by strengthening the bond between pet parents and their dogs. Guest support includes recommending merchandise and services, supporting the Pet Care Center’s operational and sales goals, maintaining merchandise presentation, processing transactions, and following safety and operational procedures. Certification progresses through the Dog Training Apprentice program, running and growing the training business at a Pet Care Center as a Dog Trainer, and completing the Health & Wellness Certification Program for Dog.
