About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and gifted front office Hospitality and Sales Assistant Director. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love and skills experience necessary to provide exceptional care for our dogs, and our beloved parents who entrust their dogs to our Team. This role involves maintaining a clean and safe environment, overseeing and assisting with daily cleaning needs and timelines, to ensure excellent dog health and everyone's well-being. Successful Team Mates are natural leaders who are diligent in following all onboarding pre-sales consultation requirements before the care for dogs may commence. • Able to comfortably lift up to 75+ lbs.
• Able to comfortably stand/walk for an entire shift.
• Physically fit and able for demanding, labor-intensive at times work flow.
• Must be comfortable monitoring up to 25 dogs at a time, if necessary.
• Must be an expert to properly supervise overall Operations ensuring safety, soundness, operations procedures and protocols, for on-time managing labor.
• Confident disposition around all dogs (we have dogs 200+ lbs.).
• Previous experience in dog handling or animal care required.
• 2+ year professional sales experience with demonstrable success.
• Type 80+ WPM.
• Resilient and multi-tasking Team Mate who is a leader and one 'who runs toward the fire'.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Gifted communicator with a gift of hospitality and welcoming to our dog families.
• Must have own transportation and not rely on anyone or ride sharing.
• Key holder experience required.
• Proven leader, for example in athletics, family, at work, church, volunteering, animal care, school, OR any field of study, or work experience.

Nice To Haves

• Ranching or equine facility background is transferable.
• Familiarity with dog training techniques is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic pet grooming practices is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Operations Team providing direction as necessary, always leading by example for on-time business open/close with all cleaning protocols met daily.
• Assist with basic grooming services as needed, and delegating to Operations Team Mates priorities of grooming, while maintaining exceptional client service contact with our dog parents.
• Oversee and is responsible for complete cleanliness of entire facility, ensuring a clean environment for all dogs and Team.
• Provide prompt leadership and direction, sometimes in a busy, hectic, and loud environment.
• Increase sales, occupancy, and 4+ star online reviews.
• Properly supervise overall Operations ensuring safety, soundness, operations procedures and protocols, for on-time managing labor.
• Act as a key holder.
