Dog Handler/Technician - Hospitality Sales
About The Position
We are seeking a Team Player for a variety of shifts to care for dogs 24/7/365. Operating hours are from 6:30 AM (or earlier when we are full) to approximately 7:30 PM. This role requires a strong, confident, and caring disposition around all dogs. You will be trained to provide professional dog care, which includes feeding, administering medication if necessary, maintaining a clean environment, supervising social play, and expanding your knowledge of dog behavior to prevent altercations. The role also involves grooming dogs and requires the ability to stand and walk throughout the day. We are an essential service open 365 days a year, regardless of weather conditions, and require dependable, reliable, and attentive team members who are caring towards both dogs and people. You must be able to confidently manage up to 25 dogs at one time, physically control dogs of all sizes/breeds in a pack setting, lift 75+ pounds, and stand/walk for extended periods. Responsibilities include detailed cleaning, food preparation, grooming, safe dog handling, and dog supervision.
Requirements
- Team player who possesses strong, confident, and caring disposition around all dogs.
- Experience with dogs is required.
- Owning your own strong disposition around all dogs of all sizes.
- Personal reliable transportation not dependent another person drive you to work.
- Dependable, reliable Team player, attentive to detail, caring of dogs and for people.
- Must be respectful intelligent human being confident in one's own skill and humble, to accept coaching for positive self improvement.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended lengthy periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 75+ pounds.
