About The Position

We are looking for a skilled, energetic dog pro who thrives in a dynamic environment, combining hands-on playgroup management with targeted behavioral training. This role offers guaranteed hours, a training-first daycare culture focused on structured play and positive reinforcement, and a variety of daily tasks including leading daycare groups, 1-on-1 sessions, walk & train routes, teaching classes, and off-site adventures. The position emphasizes work/life balance with a Monday-Friday schedule ending by 4:30 PM.

Requirements

• Professional dog training certification (CPDT-KA, KPA-CTP, IAABC, etc.) or formal dog training education
• Hands-on experience using positive-reinforcement training methods
• Strong understanding of canine behavior and body language
• Comfortable working with groups of dogs of all sizes
• Confident independently leading group training classes
• Valid Driver’s License
• Clean driving record and valid insurance to drive the van
• Team player who genuinely loves dogs
• Brings enthusiasm to the group every day

Responsibilities

• Leading small-group daycare
• Running 1-on-1 Daycare & Train sessions
• Leading Walk & Train routes
• Teaching classes
• Loading up the company van for off-site adventures
• Managing playgroups of dogs of all sizes
• Reading canine body language
• Maintaining safe, positive play environments
• Communicating clearly with owners
