Dog Groomer
About The Position
Feeders Pet Supply is hiring a Dog Groomer to provide grooming and care for customers’ dogs. The groomer is responsible for each dog’s well-being and safety, communicating with clients to understand requested services, greeting dogs and identifying special needs, and adapting grooming methods to individual dogs. Services include bathing, ear and teeth cleaning, nail trimming, anal gland expressing, and hair trimming. The role offers commission earnings and tips, with earnings based on the commission managed by the groomer plus tips. Full-time employees are eligible for full benefits and paid time off.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of pet grooming experience, or willingness to be trained as the right candidate.
- Animal care education from a reputable academy or grooming program.
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs, calculators, copiers, and fax machines.
- Experience working with retail POS systems and inventory systems.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, motivation, and a focus on safety.
