About The Position

We are searching for a compassionate dog groomer who loves to groom dogs! A successful Dog Groomer is knowledgeable and patient. We are looking for a motivated groomer to join our growing team with a path to advancement to Lead Groomer. We’re a membership-based dog wellness brand. Our model is built to make your day simpler and your work sustainable: One cut, done well. All we do is the Scenthound puppy cut—one length all over with a neat face. No elaborate breed styling, no surprises. Support on every dog. Bathers prep and a front desk handles clients, so your hands stay on grooming. Room to grow. Strong performers move up to Lead Groomer. Requirements

  • At least two years of grooming experience, or graduation from a grooming school
  • Knowledge of dog breeds, care standards, and the tools of the trade
  • Strength to lift up to 70 pounds and stamina to stand for long periods
  • Reliable transportation
  • Willingness to work in a smoke-free environment
  • Clear communication with team members and dog parents
  • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
  • Solid time management
  • Ability to self-critique and hold yourself—and your team—to high grooming standards

Responsibilities

  • Groom to Scenthound standards—the puppy cut: one length all over with a neat face
  • Help create an environment of learning, open communication, and teamwork
  • Ensure the safety of dogs and team members at all times
  • Follow Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices
  • Take on other tasks as assigned by the Scenter Manager
