We are now hiring Part-Time Dog Daycare Counselors at our Morristown facility. This is a year-round position — not a seasonal role. Schedule: This is a year-round, part-time position averaging 25–29 hours per week. Shift lengths are determined by business needs and operational scheduling. Candidates must be available to start shifts between 6:30 AM and 11:00 AM on weekdays. Some weekend and holiday availability is also required. Pay: Starting rate is $16.00-$17.00/hour based on prior professional pet care experience.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must love and be able to confidently handle dogs of all breeds and sizes; from the teacup type to the 'are you sure that's not a horse?' and everything in between
  • A basic understanding of dog behavior and body language
  • Ability to read and write in English (for documentation, communication, and safety procedures)
  • Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • Availability for weekend and holiday shifts (essential as we care for dogs 365 days a year!)

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in dog daycare or boarding facility (preferred, but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and engage in playful group and individual activities for dogs of various breeds and sizes.
  • Monitor dog behavior to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
  • Assist in crafting unique dog enrichment plans.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all pet and work areas.
  • Provide daily updates to pet parents, fostering strong relationships.
  • Collaborate with our amazing teams, all dedicated to expert pet care.
