About The Position

Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered team. This role involves providing comprehensive IT program support for Department of Defense (DoD) contracts, focusing on analysis, monitoring, and reporting to ensure successful execution and administration of projects. The analyst will work closely with government contracting representatives and associate contractors to manage IT contracts, develop tasking language, assist with technical evaluations, and implement IT efficiencies. Additionally, the position requires preparing various documentation, including briefings and policy assessments, and ensuring quality assurance of contractor performance.

Requirements

  • Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Bachelors’ Degree in a field pertinent to position from an accredited institution plus 4 years of relevant IT experience working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD programs / projects.
  • Alternatively, 8 years of relevant IT experience working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program / projects.
  • Capable of working independently and / or participating on sub-teams to analyze and resolve problems.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and resolve problems, working independently and/or leading teams.
  • Oversee, monitor, and track IT contract(s) for cost, schedule, and performance, providing monthly metrics and status.
  • Provide expert support to government contracting representatives for associate contractors in the execution and administration of new project and baseline task.
  • Develop descriptive tasking language and assist with government cost estimates.
  • Assist with government technical evaluations and recommendations to the Contracting Officer.
  • Participate in weekly meetings and customer requirements meetings to prepare and submit bi-weekly reports.
  • Assist with developing, documenting, and implementing improved IT efficiencies.
  • Assist with reviewing, editing, and completing Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) associated with various DoD contracts.
  • Identify trends or other issues that may require special consideration or procedures.
  • Prepare briefings, white papers, information papers, recommendations, governance metrics, and policy assessments.
  • Provide expert assistance with quality assurance of the associate contractor’s execution of their contracted tasks.
  • Advise and assist the government to improve the operational effectiveness and efficiency of the MDA Office of the CIO in the delivery of IT solutions to the Agency.
  • Submit for and track status of DoD approvals required for new contract efforts.
