The DOD Contracts Specialist will provide expert advice on contract management, policy compliance, and federal contracting requirements. This role involves responding to complex inquiries, reviewing contractual obligations, and managing contracts on a day-to-day basis. The specialist will act as a liaison between internal clients, project teams, business units, and the Legal function, as well as external clients and vendors. The position requires a strong understanding of the organization’s business areas, including system integration and outsourcing, to provide relevant, business-focused advice. Training and guidance on contract management processes will also be provided. The role supports cradle-to-grave contract management activities, including risk management, and requires presenting contract-related information to executives and contracting officers.
