About The Position

Ridgeline is a tech company specializing in combating Ubiquitous Technical Surveillance, assisting government and enterprise clients with digital signature management. This role is for a Contracts Administrator to manage the company's Department of Defense (DOD) portfolio. It is described as a pivotal position, not merely administrative, offering real ownership where contracts intersect with the company's mission. The ideal candidate will be proficient in defense contracting, understand compliance implications, and be dedicated to efficient operations.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of contract administration experience supporting DOD portfolios
  • Experience managing FFP and IDIQ/Task Order contracts
  • Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS
  • Active Secret clearance (minimum)
  • Prior experience with a prime defense contractor
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Contract Management, or a related field
  • NCMA certification (CPCM or CFCM) or pursuit of same
  • Experience with contract management systems such as Deltek or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with government property and subcontract management

Responsibilities

  • Manage contracts from cradle to grave across FFP and IDIQ/Task Order vehicles, focusing on compliance, competitiveness, and protection for Ridgeline.
  • Partner closely with Program Managers and Project Managers.
  • Collaborate with finance and legal teams.
  • Serve as the internal expert on FAR and DFARS compliance.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Ridgeline's contracts portfolio, along with all associated compliance and operational processes within the first 6 months.
  • Transition to full administrative ownership of Ridgeline's DOD contracts and Independent Contractor processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency within the first 6 months.
  • Build trusted relationships with key internal stakeholders, particularly Program Managers and Project Managers, to ensure alignment on contract execution within the first 6 months.
