About The Position

The Documentation Manager will work collaboratively with the Director and team to monitor and improve Center documentation and to ensure that all records are compliant with State and Federal regulations. This role involves working with the Director to prioritize, schedule, and implement audits across the center and to develop effective and accountable systems to ensure quality documentation. The Documentation Manager must maintain a working knowledge of all applicable regulations as they pertain to documentation and applies standards to audits, summarizing data and presenting results with recommendations for improvements. This role also assists the Director with oversight and support of Program Specialists, ensuring accountability and timely completion of reports. Additionally, the Documentation Manager provides coaching and leadership to Program Specialists, ensuring that all team members have the necessary skills to coordinate and facilitate a person-centered ISP process. The role assists the Director with the provision of training and support to all employees regarding the use of electronic health records and quality documentation. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in the Human Services field, working with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and/or TBI.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and ability to adhere to established regulations.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing demands of the position, customer needs, and the organization.
  • Proficient in Word Processing and Database management.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • At least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and improve Center documentation to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations.
