WSP is seeking a Document Control Lead to join our Project Controls team in Orlando. This position is a full-time, onsite role. The Document Control Lead will influence the narrative by understanding what needs to be done to support the project vision and initiatives. This role requires experience in the implementation of document management systems for large/mega programs in design/construction, and experience setting up document management systems and managing them from inception through duration to final completion and closeout of a project. The individual will monitor and manage the Electronic Document Management System(s), develop and administer the project “Document Management Plan”, and develop and administer Document Control Procedures and Training Guidelines. The role involves working with the Project Information Management Systems Team for access, security, and troubleshooting, and managing and working with Document Control Team Members. The Document Control Lead will perform recurring training on Document Management Requirements and EDMS use, implement efficient work-flow processes, initiate and track document reviews, and manage file retrieval, uploads/downloads, document naming conventions, numbering, assignment, and distribution. Additionally, the role includes processing incoming/outgoing transmittals and documentation, initiating and tracking reviews through Bluebeam Sessions, ensuring electronic record files are maintained to comply with QA and contractual requirements, optimizing Document Control productivity, efficiency, and service quality, and working with project department leads to ensure timely processing of documentation. The Document Control Lead will also produce progress reports as required.
