About The Position

Dabri, Inc. is a California-based consulting firm specializing in program and construction management, engineering support, project controls, cost estimating, scheduling, environmental compliance, and QA/QC oversight. Since 2001, we have supported complex public infrastructure and capital improvement programs across education, healthcare, transportation, aviation, and civic facilities. Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of document control experience in the construction field.
  • Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office software.
  • Must be detail oriented with effective organization and coordination skills.
  • Must have ability to interface and communicate effectively with others and have a positive attitude.
  • Experience with public agencies.
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing written correspondences for formatting, punctuation, grammar, etc.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to handle changing and increasing workload.
  • Strong in Excel use and spreadsheets is a must.
  • Valid California Driver’s License
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (no visa sponsorship available)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in reading construction plan is preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with Sharepoint and Sharefile is preferred.
  • Experience with OneDrive and/or other digital platforms is a plus.
  • Knowledge/use of other Project Control Software is a plus, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Assist County personnel/plan checkers/permit technicians in processing and facilitating public inquiries and plan check submissions, and other general correspondence.
  • Perform screening of permit applications for completeness, Title 24, architectural/structural requirements, etc.
  • Assist in tracking submission backlogs and provide current status of submitted plans/submissions.
  • Establish and maintain a project document filing system in accordance with established County procedures.
  • Prepare reports in accordance with established County procedures and forms.
  • Enter and track the following documents: plan submittments, permit applications, internal performance of review times and plans status, payment status.
  • Document Controller maintains all logs.
  • Establish and maintain hard file systems.
