About The Position

Performs operational duties in support of regulatory and/or Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliance documentation; coordinating the verification, approval, and processing of document revisions; and tracking document activity to ensure timeliness and process efficiency.

Requirements

  • High School/GED
  • 2 years of additional education and/or experience
  • Must have good written and verbal communication.
  • Have knowledge to interpret drawings and work packages.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong technical knowledge of the Shipbuilding Construction process (Outfitting /Structural), i.e... Work package, NDT, Piping, Record Certification, Records Retention and storage.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Able to solve problems and have plenty of patience to enabling them to provide excellent customer support.

Responsibilities

  • Review and certify technical work documents for accuracy, (Work Packages, Work Permits and Pipe Weld Records etc.) to ensure the testing of a system meet the certification requirements for operation.
  • Utilize Microsoft office applications.
  • Open to new ideas/concepts that will improve processes.
  • Able to lift 40 pounds.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Able to adapt to changing work schedules.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a minimum of Confidential DoD Security Clearance.
