About The Position

This is an entry-level inspection position with duties split evenly between documentation and mechanical inspection. The role involves processing and maintaining project documents according to customer requirements, maintaining measurement data, and transferring customer-related quality data to provided data sheets. The position requires maintaining a comprehensive filing system and customer data package, potentially managing documents for the document control center, and collecting/maintaining the latest revision level documentation for product configuration and process control. Responsibilities also include distributing updated documentation and ensuring obsolete documents are removed. The role requires performing mechanical inspections as needed and collaborating with the mechanical inspection team for part movement. The job is performed in accordance with document control practices and includes maintaining product shipment documentation.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience or steady employment history
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of customer specifications and requirements
  • Ability to work both individually and in a team environment
  • Commitment to keep work area clean and free of debris
  • Ability to understand and obey all safety requirements
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Familiarity with office 360 software products, i.e. Excel/Word/Outlook
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Basic arithmetic skills
  • Comfortability working with fractions and decimal equivalents

Nice To Haves

  • Best suited for a candidate with growth aspirations as training will be provided on the job.
  • Ability to measure and inspect using hand tools such as micrometers/calipers a plus.
