Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to understand all safety requirements and cautions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers, the purchasing department, and outside vendors
  • Basic understanding of inventory control procedures
  • Proficient keyboarding skills
  • Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and distribute controlled documents (drawings, specifications, work instructions, etc.)
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and current revision status of all controlled documents
  • Work with engineering team to issue and track document revisions, notifying relevant departments of any new changes
  • Maintain document change logs and distribution records.
  • Pull and destroy all issued documents when project is complete
  • Create unit identification labels and travelers for production frames
  • Direct framing dept. on framing order based on production schedule
  • Send out Production Tracker at the end of each day
  • Work with pretest and test to get the status of each unit
  • Prepare labels and other necessary shipping documents for each unit
  • Coordinate with project managers to create packing lists for shipments
  • Keep master shipping schedule and production schedule up to date
  • Prepare skid assignment paperwork for shipping lead to use when preparing skids
  • Send shipment emails to leadership team when a shipment has been picked up
  • Coordinate with logistics manager to schedule trailers for shipments
  • Prepare and process shipping documentation - bills of lading
  • Coordinate between shipping department and logistics team to schedule freight shipments with carriers
  • Assist shipping department to prepare units that are going out
  • Resolve shipping and delivery issues as they arise.
  • Work with drivers to get the shipments picked up
  • Load units on to trailers.
  • Upload shipment documentation and photos to Dropbox.
  • Send detailed shipment email to all stakeholders.
  • Update master shipping schedule with shipment status and BOL information.
