About The Position

Trex Company, the world’s number one decking and railing brand, and leader in high-performance, low-maintenance outdoor living products, is seeking a Document Control Intern in our Research & Development Department to take part in our Summer Internship program.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited engineering program
• Successfully completed at least two semesters of coursework
• GPA of 3.0 or above

Responsibilities

• Assist Document Control with routine tasks, including data collection, analysis, document revision control reviews, record retention reviews.
• Assist with reviewing old documentation to verify its current status and life span.
• Work with other departments to conduct document audits of current practices, procedures, and policies.
• Work on best practices with manufacturing and engineering departments to streamline their documentation.
