About The Position

The Document Control Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and improving the company’s document control system to ensure compliance with internal procedures, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards. This role supports a fast-paced contract manufacturing environment by ensuring documentation is accurate, accessible, and effectively controlled throughout its lifecycle.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in document control within manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word (templates, formatting,).
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Acrobat (fillable forms, security, signatures, redaction, document optimization).
  • Familiarity with controlled document workflows and quality management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and administer the document control system, including procedures, work instructions, forms, drawings, specifications, and records.
  • Ensure documents are reviewed, approved, distributed, and revised according to company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Manage electronic document control platforms
  • Track and communicate document status, pending changes, and revision updates.
  • Coordinate Media Change Orders (MCO/MROs), Deviations, and Change Requests, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Remove obsolete documents from circulation and verify correct revisions at points of use.
  • Maintain organized records in accordance with retention policies and regulatory requirements (ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, etc.).
  • Support audits by providing controlled documents, logs, and traceability records.
  • Manage environmental compliance documentation such as REACH, RoHS, and related declarations.
  • Coordinate and complete customer surveys, supplier questionnaires, and compliance forms.
