About The Position

TForce Freight is seeking a part-time Dockworker to help ensure freight is loaded safely and efficiently so customers’ shipments arrive on time and in the same condition in which they were received. The role is part of a safety-focused team and involves operating powered warehouse equipment and yard trucks to support dock operations. The listed starting rate is $21.00 per hour. No CDL is required.

Requirements

No CDL required.
Strong customer service skills and dedication.
Perform essential job functions without obvious risk of injury to self or coworkers.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Must be a U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Forklift operator certification.
Customer-focused and team-oriented work ethic.
Safety-focused.
At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Operate yard trucks to manage dock needs and maintain a safe, clean environment.
Print bills of lading (BOLs) for daily deliveries.
Process and palletize damaged penny and RTV merchandise.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure workplace.
Help maintain and care for dock equipment.
Unload cargo using cranes or forklifts.
Secure shipments upon arrival.
Operate powered warehouse equipment, including forklifts, cherry pickers, hydraulic jacks, and extended belts.
Use tractors to maneuver vehicles safely and efficiently, including in tight spaces.
