About The Position

TForce Freight is seeking a part-time Dockworker to help ensure freight is loaded safely and efficiently so customers' shipments arrive on time and in the same condition in which they were received. The role is part of a safety-focused team and involves operating powered warehouse equipment, including forklifts, cherry pickers, hydraulic jacks, and extended belts. Tractors are used to maneuver vehicles efficiently and safely, including in tight spaces. The listed starting rate is $18.50 per hour. Requirements

No CDL is required.
Provide impeccable customer service and demonstrate dedication.
Perform essential job functions without obvious risk of injury to oneself or coworkers.
Be able to read, write, and speak English.
Be a U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
Have strong organizational and time-management skills.
Hold forklift operator certification.
Demonstrate a customer-focused, team-oriented work ethic and a safety-focused approach.
Be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Operate yard trucks to manage dock needs and maintain a safe, clean environment.
Print bills of lading for daily deliveries.
Process and palletize damaged penny and RTV merchandise.
Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure workplace.
Help maintain and care for dock equipment.
Unload cargo using cranes or forklifts.
Secure shipments upon arrival.
