About The Position

TForce Freight is seeking a part-time Dockworker without a CDL. The role helps ensure customer freight is loaded safely and efficiently so it can be delivered on time and in the same condition in which it was received. As part of a safety-focused team, the Dockworker operates powered warehouse equipment, including forklifts, cherry pickers, hydraulic jacks, and extended belts. Tractors are used to maneuver vehicles efficiently and safely, including in tight spaces. Requirements

No CDL is required.

Able to read, write, and speak English.
Must be a U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Forklift operator certification.

Responsibilities

Operate yard trucks to manage dock needs and maintain a safe, clean environment.
Print bills of lading (BOL) for daily deliveries.
Process and palletize damaged penny and RTV merchandise.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure workplace.
Help maintain and care for dock equipment.
Unload cargo using cranes or forklifts.
Secure shipments upon arrival.
Operate powered warehouse equipment, including forklifts, cherry pickers, hydraulic jacks, and extended belts.
Use tractors to maneuver vehicles efficiently and safely, including in tight spaces.
