About The Position

TForce Freight is seeking a Dockworker to load freight safely and efficiently so customer shipments can be delivered on time and in the condition received. The position is described as part-time in the title, although the job summary calls it full-time. The role is part of a safety-focused team and involves operating powered warehouse equipment, including forklifts, cherry pickers, hydraulic jacks, and extended belts. Requirements

No CDL is required.
Impeccable customer service and dedication.
Perform essential job functions safely, without obvious risk of injury to self or coworkers.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Must be a U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Forklift operator certification.

At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Operate yard trucks to manage dock needs and maintain a safe, clean environment.
Print bills of lading (BOL) for daily deliveries.
Process and palletize damaged penny and RTV merchandise.
Follow safety protocols to help ensure a secure workplace.
Help maintain and care for dock equipment.
Unload cargo using cranes or forklifts.
Secure shipments upon arrival.
