About The Position

A. Duie Pyle is seeking a part-time Outbound Dockworker in Richmond, Virginia. The role is responsible for safely transporting freight on and off trailers and verifying related documentation using electronic and manual systems. The schedule starts at 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and the role may require flexibility for day or night shifts, weekends, and holidays. Pay is $22.75 per hour, increasing to $23.75 after 12 months of employment, with weekly pay via direct deposit. A. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience operating a forklift or other material-handling equipment preferred.
Prior experience in warehousing, freight, and/or logistics preferred.
Ability to safely operate equipment and follow company and government safety rules and regulations.
Ability to read, write, and speak English and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

Load and unload freight on trailers using appropriate equipment, including a forklift or electric pallet jack.
Pick, stage, and secure freight inside trailers to ensure safe transport.
Use a document management system to track and monitor freight shipment locations throughout the terminal.
Communicate with terminal personnel and drivers.
Maintain a flexible schedule, which may include day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Operate with a customer-service-first mentality.
Safely transport freight on and off trailers and verify related documentation via electronic and manual systems.
