About The Position

This position assists the Office of Administrative Courts by processing and analyzing documents and pleadings for the Denver Administrative Law Judges in the Medicaid Unit. This position is also responsible for assisting with mail, file creation, and other administrative tasks. A summary of the duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Case Analysis - Ascertain the appropriate action required on cases. Hearing Process - Process and schedule hearings within statutorily mandated timeframes. Customer Service - Serve as unit liaison between the public and the judges. Procedural Orders - Assist ALJs and legal assistants by drafting simple procedural orders for signature.

Requirements

  • At least two (2) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position OR A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to at least two (2) years.
  • Must be a resident of the State of Colorado at the time of submitting your application.
