Dock Worker - Night's - Part Time

About The Position
Manitoulin Transport is seeking a Part-Time Dock Worker for night shifts, primarily for holiday coverage and weekend shifts. This role involves loading and unloading trailers, distributing freight, documenting discrepancies, reweighing and cubing freight, and maintaining general cleanliness of the yard and warehouse. The position requires some lifting and adherence to Health & Safety and Company policies.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must work well with others and take direction
- Must be able to think on your feet in a high pace environment
- Must have fork lift experience
- Able to solve problems when they arrive
Responsibilities
- Loading/Unloading inbound and outbound trailers
- Distributing freight to P&D Drivers
- Documenting overages, shortages and damages
- Reweighing and cubing freight
- General cleaning of yard and warehouse
- Some lifting required
- Ability to follow Health & Safety and Company policies
