Dock Worker - 1st Shift
About The Position
The Dock Worker supports distribution operations by picking items through the GreyOrange or Jennifer systems and preparing boxes for shipment. The role requires checking book titles, quantities, and item conditions for accuracy, as well as labeling, scanning, and sorting boxes. Employees must follow all safety guidelines, and safety shoes are required. New hires participate in a 90-day evaluation period intended to support training and successful integration into the team. The position is full-time, pays $17.00 per hour, and has a first-shift schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Overtime is required on Saturdays and Sundays.
Requirements
- At least 4 months of previous distribution facility experience.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50 pounds.
- Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced, seasonal work environment.

- Verify book titles, quantities, and item conditions to maintain accuracy.
- Label, scan, and sort boxes for shipping.
- Follow all safety guidelines; safety shoes are required.
