Dock Sortation Lead

Saltbox•Chamblee, GA
•$19 - $22•Onsite

About The Position

The Dock Sortation Lead owns the daily sortation operation at Saltbox’s Chamblee location, overseeing incoming packages, team execution, service-level performance, and driver handoffs. This is a hands-on role on the warehouse floor, beginning around 1:00 a.m. Pallets arrive, packages are scanned and sorted into batches, and the team prepares for the first drivers. The Lead coaches throughput, identifies errors before they cause SLA misses, and ensures clean handoffs. After dispatch, the Lead submits the daily operations report and handles exceptions or escalations. The role leads 2 to 7 Dock Sortation Specialists, depending on volume, and is accountable for sortation quality, operational targets, compliance, and team readiness. Success is measured by package sort completion, dispatch and delivery performance, loss rate, complete reporting, team certification, and device and credential discipline. This full-time hourly position is based at the Chamblee, Georgia location, with early-morning shifts typically from 1:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on a seven-day rotation.
