About The Position

The Warehouse Systems Technician is responsible for the diagnosis and repair of loading docks, industrial doors, high-speed doors, compactors, balers, and other warehouse equipment at our customer locations. The Warehouse Systems Technician will be provided a company service truck with parts inventory to provide repairs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 or more years of maintenance experience in a service technician role in the material handling industry preferred.
• Other maintenance experience will be considered (military, automotive/diesel, building maintenance, etc.)
• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical ac/dc systems up to 480 volts, hydraulic, and mechanical operations.
• Welding experience is required.
• Ability to operate forklifts and scissor lifts.
• Have a valid CA driver’s license and a safe driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Vocational or technical training preferred.
• Certification preferred.
• Dock leveler and roll-up door experience preferred.
• Ability to tow a trailer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers phone calls from technicians and customers, providing technical support to fix issues.
• Diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and repair issues properly.
• Perform planned maintenance services and breakdown repairs.
• Maintain a company service vehicle and parts inventory.
• Ability to work in various heights and confined spaces.
• Ability to work safely on a ladder.
• Perform in a team environment.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a good attendance record.
• Maintain positive customer relations and approach all situations in a tactful and professional manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
