About The Position

The Divisional Accountant will assist the Divisional Controller in developing, implementing and monitoring all Divisional Fund accounting and financial functions. This role maintains systems and procedures for agency financial and administrative operations. The accountant prepares, analyzes and submits required financial reports, statements and statistics for internal and external use. They coordinate, prepare and present operating budgets, and estimate, analyze and update financial projections and cash flows. This position documents and reports all income and expenditures related to agency programs, maintaining ledgers, journals and files for reporting as required. The Divisional Accountant also maintains contact with individuals in outside groups such as auditors and banks, and maintains and monitors Corps Reserves and all activity and related transactions, following up with Corps on any corrections or questions. Additionally, this role provides support to the Regional Accounting Supervisor during training, vacations, audits, and the consolidation process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License with approval to drive from TSA insurance
  • 3 years of experience in accounting
