About The Position

ADP is hiring a Division Vice President of Sales, Retirement Services. This role is for individuals passionate about helping clients achieve their retirement goals, dedicated to building and leading high-performing sales teams, and seeking to work for a company that impacts lives. The Division Vice President of Sales will provide overall direction and leadership to sales associates to achieve sales goals, ensuring excellence and integrity. This position is part of the RS Senior Leadership team and is responsible for managing the team to meet the Division's revenue, profit, and retention goals. Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration.
  • Series 6, 63, and 26 licenses are a must.
  • 10+ years total sales experience plus substantial senior sales management experience within the financial or retirement services industry.
  • Recognized as an individual with outstanding leadership skills, professionalism, and business planning capability who has led large sales teams.
  • Experience working with sales organization stakeholders, including leadership, quota carriers, sales operations, and business consultants.
  • Partnered with General Management and Operations to achieve sales, revenue, profit, and client retention objectives.
  • Works effectively with others, both internally and externally to achieve goals.
  • In-depth knowledge of ADP products, services and programs.
  • Ability to be successful in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in financial services sales.
  • HCM sales experience is a plus.
  • Experience managing a team in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

  • Grow ADP's Business While Growing Your Team's: Attain or exceed assigned sales quota within the required product mix. Prepare a business plan to identify how the area/regions will achieve assigned sales goals and implement the business plan with direct reports. Manage the area's net sales expense (NSE), direct and indirect selling, and set-up expense budget objectives.
  • Grow Your People: Provide coaching, counseling, and direction to direct reports for their professional growth and development. Manage the implementation of Career Development and succession plans, communicating career pathing opportunities and building for future strength. Obtain written action plans from sales management to improve the performance of sales personnel below quota levels. Responsible for human resource management activities including staffing levels, employee retention rates, employee relations, performance management plans, and employee communication. Assure Divisional EEO/Affirmative Action Plans and goals are attained through proactive involvement in recruiting, selection, and promotion.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with other functional areas to ensure the smooth implementation of sales.
  • Report and Help to Improve: Accurately forecast and report on business that will close. Review Corporate lead generating activities by division, determine division results, and provide feedback, results, and suggestions to the SVP. Bring the needs of the marketplace to attention and provide input to groups such as Sales Operations regarding issues and recommended solutions.
