Division Finance Manager

The Division Finance Manager (DFM) will join a team of field finance leaders, reporting to the Group Finance Director and one Divisional Vice President. This teammate will be an integral partner in supporting the business operations within their assigned division, taking a leadership role through strong partnerships with the Division Vice President, Regional Operation Directors, Facility Administrators, and the Group’s finance team. The role supports parts of California, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, and Colorado.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analysis on variance to budget, identify major wins and focus areas, partner in developing action plans where applicable, and present monthly performance to divisional and group leadership team during monthly financial/operations reviews
  • Lead the divisional bottoms-up approach for 3-year strategic planning, working with Regional Directors and the Divisional Vice President to complete plans for all locations (existing and projected), and provide analysis and recommendations for forecasting
  • Perform bottoms-up build for labor and controllable cost items, conduct regional and divisional analysis, and report and present final budgets
  • Partner strongly with the Divisional Vice President, Regional Directors, and biomed team to prioritize, manage, and track capital expenditures
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvement in partnership with Regional Directors and the Division Vice President, and provide ad hoc analysis and recommendations
  • Provide structured financial training to new field teammates and existing teammates as needed; train Regional Directors and the Division Vice President on forecast and budget templates and processes
  • Maintain current data for divisional dashboards and other ad hoc tools / reports, and present on financial performance to relevant stakeholders
  • Support the development, rollout, and monitoring of various bonus / profit sharing plans throughout the division
  • Partner with Regional Directors and the Division Vice President to analyze, review, and recommend overall divisional growth strategy including existing business growth, new business growth, acquisitions, physician partnerships, hospital partnerships, and other factors
  • May be assigned specific financial group responsibilities which will require coordination across all group divisions and interaction with Division Vice Presidents and Regional Operations Directors outside of your assigned division(s)
  • Represent group on committees for Village (Company)-wide financial projects such as design of company forecasting and budgeting templates
  • Train new hires to the group finance team
  • Perform other duties as requested or assigned
