Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible leadership experience supporting complex scientific, engineering, research, or technical organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large, multidisciplinary teams and managing technical programs.
  • Experience overseeing multiple projects with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, quality, and technical performance.
  • Strong organizational, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage executive leadership, customers, and technical personnel.
  • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships and lead organizational change.
  • U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain any required security clearances.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for division programs, personnel, and operations.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex scientific, engineering, and research initiatives.
  • Ensure projects are completed within established scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
  • Develop and implement long-term organizational strategies that support business and customer objectives.
  • Foster collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and promote technical excellence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal leadership, customers, sponsors, and external partners.
  • Oversee resource planning, workforce development, and organizational performance.
  • Identify opportunities for program growth, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Support business development activities, strategic initiatives, and proposal efforts as needed.
  • Promote a culture of safety, integrity, accountability, and operational excellence.
