About The Position

The Division Asset Manager will be responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory of all assets within the division, including equipment, vehicles, and facilities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This role involves developing and managing budgets, negotiating contracts with vendors, and analyzing costs to identify opportunities for savings while maintaining quality. The position also requires coordinating scheduled maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan, and ensuring all assets meet safety and regulatory standards. The Division Asset Manager will lead and mentor a team of Equipment Managers, technicians, and support staff, manage relationships with suppliers and service providers, track equipment performance metrics, and prepare regular reports for divisional leadership. This position will oversee our Prestress Division in Harrisburg, OR and Spokane, WA, as well as operations in Alaska and Hawaii.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a management-level position within the construction materials or construction industries.
  • Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management, inventory systems, and maintenance practices.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Availability to travel approximately 40% of the time is necessary.
  • Proficiency in asset management software and tools
  • Leadership experience with a proven ability to manage and mentor teams.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance in the construction materials industry.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all assets within the division, including equipment, vehicles, and facilities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Manage relationships with suppliers and service providers for asset procurement, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Track equipment performance metrics, conduct inspections, and implement data-driven improvements for efficiency and reliability.
  • Prepare regular reports on asset utilization, costs, performance, and other metrics for divisional leadership review.
  • Work with division and regional leadership to align asset management strategies with business goals.
