The Division Action Officer provides SETA support by coordinating high-priority taskers, data calls, and special requests across TR-I portfolios or from higher headquarters. The role identifies contributors, gathers inputs, tracks ownership and suspense dates, drives actions to closure, and elevates unresolved issues or delays as needed. The position develops executive-level correspondence and decision-support products, including decision packages, briefing materials, read-aheads, background memoranda, and transmittal packages. It translates programmatic, technical, and acquisition information into concise written products that support senior leadership review and decision-making. The Action Officer maintains the TR-I Division central action tracker, monitors progress and overdue actions, and provides the Deputy Division Support Lead and front office with visibility into pending, active, and completed work. The role coordinates staffing among stakeholders, consolidates inputs into coherent response packages, and supports executive meetings by preparing materials, recording guidance and decisions, and converting follow-on direction into assigned, tracked actions. The position also uses approved collaboration and workflow tools and supports consistent use of templates, trackers, repositories, and front-office workflow practices. Travel is approximately 10 percent annually, typically around five non-consecutive weeks, subject to Government priorities and scheduling. The position requires U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. Government Secret clearance.
