About The Position

The Diving Maintenance Technician / 3M Work Center Supervisor Qualified / SWALIS/DPAS Database Specialist / Personal Property Custodian provides comprehensive support for dive maintenance operations and inventory accountability within LOGSUPPU-2. This role combines technical maintenance expertise with database management and property accountability responsibilities to ensure all diving equipment is operational, properly tracked, and compliant with Department of Defense standards. The position directly supports mission readiness by maintaining both the functionality and accountability of critical diving systems and assets.

Requirements

  • US Citizen
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Must hold an active Secret Security Clearance
  • Minimum three (3) years of inventory management experience within Naval Special Warfare (NSW)
  • Experience with SWALIS/DPAS or similar Accountability Property System of Record (APSR)
  • Experience managing capital assets, inventory systems, and property accountability processes
  • Familiarity with diving equipment maintenance and lifecycle support
  • Qualification as a 3M Work Center Supervisor (303)
  • Ability to maintain required training and system access credentials
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Must accurately input and manage data across systems
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain installation access

Responsibilities

  • Perform and support all diving maintenance technician duties as defined for primary dive maintenance roles
  • Process requests and maintain records for issue, turn-in, gain, and loss of property
  • Conduct monthly, bi-annual, and annual inventories of dive division assets
  • Investigate and process documentation for missing, lost, stolen, or damaged property
  • Support customer service, issue, and receipt of diving equipment, including handling DD Form 1149 documentation
  • Track and manage dive equipment requests through Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET) systems
  • Maintain and manage inventory within the Accountability Property System of Record (APSR), including SWALIS/DPAS
  • Ensure compliance with property accountability and maintenance program requirements
  • Coordinate with supported units and personnel for equipment procurement, tracking, and accountability
