About The Position

The Assembler proficiently assembles high-quality portable power distribution boxes safely in a high-volume manufacturing environment. The role supports Trystar’s strategic objectives and its goal of becoming a leading custom solution provider. Assemblers work according to job orders, standard operating procedures, and required quality specifications, and maintain the paperwork and production data associated with manufacturing.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Two years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read instructions, safely operate machines, and visually inspect parts produced.
• Accuracy and timeliness in completing work assignments.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds intermittently.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend plant directives written in English.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
• Must adhere to required personal protective equipment requirements, including eye, hand, feet, and hearing protection.

Nice To Haves

• Technical secondary education is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and accurate data-entry experience for receiving and issuing products.
• Ability to perform simple mathematics to interpret process sheets, SOP manuals, and tally sheets, and to accurately account for materials used, including scrap.
• Basic understanding of blueprints, mechanical assembly, and electrical assembly.

Responsibilities

• Understand job orders and interact with Epicor.
• Read, comprehend, and follow processes and procedures in Standard Operating Procedures to operate equipment and manufacture products properly.
• Complete and maintain required operational paperwork, including entering information into Epicor and preparing daily production reports, tally sheets, and scrap reports.
• Maintain and operate hand tools and power tools.
• Perform quality control checks and inspections to ensure manufactured products meet required specifications.
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
