Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree from college or university in Engineering or Engineering technology; or related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of industrial refrigeration components and equipment.
  • A background in industrial refrigeration sales/engineering, refrigeration contracting, or food freezing is required.
  • A refrigeration technical school with six or more years of experience and demonstrated ability required.

Responsibilities

  • Promote the sale of Food and Beverage equipment within assigned territory.
  • Supports the activities of refrigeration contractors by providing technical and commercial information in the promotion of sales.
  • Responsible for the application of Frick equipment to customers’ needs.
  • Creates a demand for Frick equipment with both end users and engineers for sale through refrigeration contractors.
  • Provides feedback to the factory on both commercial and technical issues to provide the factory with guidance for future product development and commercial strategy.
  • Provide technical and commercial information to customers to promote the sale of refrigeration equipment (mainly contractors).
  • Provide Sales feedback to regional management and factory personnel on activities in the field, including customer perception of Frick products, competitive moves, industry trends, and lost and secured job information.
  • Creates a demand for Frick equipment for purchase through refrigeration contractors.
  • Gathers information on project bidding to enable Frick to maximize profits on each project.
  • Becomes involved in related industry associations to promote the sale of Frick equipment (RETA, IARW, PIA, ASHRAE, etc.)
