The District Sales and Operations Manager is responsible for providing overall leadership and execution of Sales and Distribution strategy for Admiral’s distribution centers within a geographical area by directing local management at the Sales Centers. This role involves developing operational plans to achieve annual goals relating to sales, margin, and expenses, as well as profit and losses, and strategic plans, including the development, execution, and organization of pricing and promotional strategies. The position provides direction for improvement in sales operations to maximize sales volume and revenue, including ordering, delivery, and merchandising, to drive continuous improvement and development of district operations. It also involves evaluating people, processes, technological capabilities, skills, and resource alignment to ensure performance against objectives, and designing realignment options and assisting with change efforts necessary to achieve operational excellence. The role identifies and coordinates with local management teams to define strategies and processes for improvements within the operations area necessary to meet variance commitments for sales centers/distribution warehouses and cost objectives. It also identifies cost gaps and develops action plans to allocate resources to meet financial objectives while meeting customer needs. The District Sales and Operations Manager assists local management teams to achieve high levels of execution through efficient route sales and delivery, customer orders, productivity attainment, analysis, and effective staffing. It evaluates individual Sales Center capabilities, skills, and resource alignment to ensure performance against objectives, and leads realignment and redesign efforts as necessary to provide executional excellence. The role develops and monitors budgetary and financial goals against corporate leadership direction, reviews direct reports' progress against monthly and annual plans, and continually develops their effectiveness as leaders, providing opportunities for career development. The position also communicates and collaborates cross-functionally with local management to assist with solving operational issues. Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
