About The Position

The District Manager- Special Projects is responsible for identifying, developing, and executing growth opportunities that expand the Swisher portfolio within emerging, alternative, and non-traditional channels. This role leads strategic business initiatives, manages key customer accounts and partnerships, and oversees a team responsible for driving execution across multiple channels and customer segments. The position is accountable for evaluating new market opportunities, developing growth strategies, and delivering business results through effective leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and operational execution.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and execute new business opportunities in emerging, alternative, and non-traditional sales channels.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, development, recognition, and performance feedback to team members to strengthen capabilities and drive results.
  • Manage the strategic relationship and business performance of key national accounts, including 7-Eleven, ensuring successful execution, distribution growth, and achievement of sales objectives.
  • Oversee the Hempire business and field operations, ensuring effective execution of growth strategies, sales initiatives, and operational objectives.
  • Lead and manage strategic partnerships with third-party agencies, distributors, jobbers, DSD partners, and other external stakeholders to maximize business performance and market penetration.
  • Drive expansion efforts across alternative and emerging channels, including specialty retail, fitness, grocery, and other non-traditional customer segments.
  • Translate organizational and channel strategies into actionable business plans for direct reports and key partners to ensure successful execution.
  • Evaluate market trends, customer needs, competitive activity, and channel performance to identify opportunities and inform business strategy.
  • Manage budgets and resources associated with assigned channels, initiatives, and field operations.
  • Represent Swisher at industry events, customer meetings, and trade shows to strengthen relationships, promote company brands, and identify new business opportunities.
